AndyRenamer - v0.4.1 Categorie: File Tools
Screen Shot
AndyRenamer is a utility software allowing you to batch rename files with sequential names. Your files will then have the same name but with a number before the extension (mypicture001.jpg, mypicture002.jpg, etc.)

This software will delight those who own a digital camera and want to rename the files on their memory card in a simple and quickly maner whereas the names are usually so meaningful like DSCxxx.jpg for example.

We have been waiting for this on Pocket PC for a while. No need to wait to have access to a PC to sort pictures as they are taken.

No limitation found so far. The options are perfect and very easy to use.

If you are on Pocket PC 2002, you will need the .Net Compact Framework.

This is a great utility, has come in handy more than once. Simple enough to not require a Ph.D. in user interface decryption, butg enough options to make it useful. I have wished it supported wildcard like renames on occasion, in particular to rename Total Commander's link files so they don't have the "exe" in the *.lnk file name. Maybe version 2, Chan? :-)
