Riseset is an astronomy program which provides various information on the movement of the solar system's planets in the sky: rising and setting times, azimuth, and altitude. It's up to you to set the date and your location but with this information, you should be able to find the planets in the star filled sky.
Besides the times, the program gives a graphical representation in the form of a compass. By function of the chosen planet, the information can be different: for the Moon, you can find the percent visible; for the sun, it is the daylight period.
Note that the program requires the Ewe java virtual machine which takes up 2Mb. It is supplied with two CSV files containing the position data for Europe and America.
