Today Weather is a Today page plug-in that displays the current weather conditions and the predicted weather for the next few days for the location that you choose. Of course, you need to connect your Pocket PC to the Internet (via passthrough with a cradle connected to an online PC or a direct connection to the Pocket PC). Although it can only display one place at a time on the screen, it lets you compare many cities in the Setup utility which is installed. It is easily read in the limited space of the Today screen without losing useful information when you are travelling.
There are many handy options (it displays current temperature, air pressure and windspeed, trending of air pressure, temperature and windspeed, user-configurable radar and satellite images, 5 day forecast in 6 different locations). Even if you have no need for a Today page plug-in, I would recommend this as the autonomous program allows you to obtains weather information on demand.

This app is in beta and will not continue as freeware. Unfortunately. What a pitty. It is a shame that it didn't stay free. There was a much needed app that could do this for free.

Alawi, I don't know where you are in the Middle East, but if you go to the weather in the excite web page, you can get the location code for the city you want. Then you can insert it manually.
For instance, if you want to add "Cairo, Egypt":
- Go to - http://my.excite.com/weather/loc.jsp?a=AME&pn=Middle+East
- Select Egypt
- Select Cairo
- The location code will be on the address bar (http://my.excite.com/weather/obs.jsp?id=EGXX0004)
This is an excellent app, the only unfortunately it doesn't allow updating the forecast information "On Demand". It only updates it automatically.

This is the perfect weather plugin! If you don't mind a little bit of clutter on your Today screen (as shown in the sample picture above), then get this program right now! This is just another excellent program that makes my iPaq 2215 even MORE precious... I love this program!

I got it to install without asking for money. Now if only it will stay that way...

The commercial version is now at 1.00.14 (and a beta at 1.00.17) with 1.01.00 or something like that coming up. Lots of issues have been fixed and stuff added since 0.98.01 (including a more reliable weather source). If you compare its functionality with its price, it's almost for free :)

Weather Watcher Mobile (now at v 1.05) is both freeware and does all you want. Just use Search box above.
Not a Today plug-in, but an icon to place on Today screen. Much preferable for me, as valuable screen real estate is not used for something I don't need every time I look at the screen.
Also has seen regular updates so far.

Can it be loaded on WM5?
