BibleReader is a program that allows you to read Bibles, in the form of adapted text files. It already exists on other platforms (PC, Palm, ...) and this is the Pocket PC port.
As usual, the strength of this program is in the plethora of Bibles available on the author's site, some not freeware, but lots of free ones too, as well as other Lectionaries or Devotionals. This program will no doubt be appreciated mainly by Protestant Christians, partial to this sort of thing. You can even find versions in Hebrew or Greek, for those who want to go back to the source.
There are numerous and very complete functions, from searches to word counts right down to classic bookmarks. You can also view several texts at a time when you want to do a comparison. Of course the files, which are rather sizable, can be stored on a storage card. Navigating around is pleasant and poses no particular problem, apart from two particular cases: note-taking (Americans who participate in study groups won't like that) and how search results are handled.
In short, a very good program for those who have a need for it, especially if they once had a Palm and are used to this software. It is still one notch below Pocket e-Sword, in my opinion.
