OzVGA is designed for owners of Pocket PC's with VGA. Just like SE_VGA, it lets you go from standard VGA mode to Full VGA (or HiDPI), and back again. Doing this requires a soft-reset.
The difference with its competitor lies in the fact that OzVGA will modify Registry keys for you. In particular, the font size.
A very handy shortcut is a button that applies a multiplier to standard values. The author sets it to 1.5. Still, a number of non-optimised applications will no longer display on only a quarter of the screen as with SE_VGA and will therefore be more readable (see the example in the screenshot).
Some applications are already fully VGA optimised (for example, Resco Explorer, SPB Pocket Plus) and you can choose to exclude them from modification.
In the same vien, there is the ability to configure an application for both modes. An example is supplied with cLaunch.
All of these parameters, excluding those supplied with the program, are manually done just like the installation. It is why the author is very receptive to any suggestions about changes to the application.
Finally, the ease of use is better than SE_VGA, but adjustments remain excessively long and annoying. Also, the difficulty in "aiming" at the icons remains.
Attention: changing from VGA mode can render your Pocket PC unstable, perform a full backup before installation!

!!!Warning!!! This program totally fucked my Windows Mobile 2003SE system (HP iPAQ hx4700, ARM) after which I had to make hard reset! Actually, starting this tool after soft reset I've got VGA resolution but system and other programs refused to work correctly. I permanently lost the connection with PC, system settings, file explorer stop to work, total disaster. I was not able to return to prevous state without hard reset. Curious as I am, after hard reseting I installed this tool on fresh system again to see what happened with this tool first time and it happened again! This program does not work on my system!

Same thing happened to me!! I have a Dell x51v and recently installed OzVGA. All looked ok until until pressed the button to do a soft reset and then my PDA would not boot up! Had to perform a hard reset and as a result lost some valuable documents! Avoid at all costs if you have an x51v!!
