dialDTMF is a utility that sends vocal frequencies corresponding to telephone dial tones through your Pocket PC's loudspeaker.
The program appears as an option in the contextual menu of Contacts. When the contact is chosen and the option selected, you only have to place the telephone next to the speaker of the Pocket PC and the number is dialed.
The program works, no problem, but in this age of Bluetooth, data synchronisation of many mobile phones and Pocket PC Phone Edition, this program is limited to land lines. Note : the source code is available.

What about land-line handsets? Those neither have Bluetooth nor IR as far as I know. So DTMF is the only way to automatically dial a number from a handheld. Congratulations on writing such a useful peice of software!!!

This is a great program that allows me to dial from phones that auto dial(like my bank "cash-machines"). This way I dial for free. Great!

I use v0.03 program which have not any bag, and is very usefull, especialy when your dials are international (too many digits), if you add extra digits from cheap phone card codes then dialDTMF is necessary (in my case 33 digits!). Notes: Use comma(,) for space, adjust volume for optimum result, noise reduce successfull dial, every handset have different behaviour.
