AlarmClock - v0.04 Categorie: Clocks
Screen Shot
AlarmClock is an improved version of GSAlarmClock of which the source code is supplied by the author. It is a program that can set off an alarm clearly better than the standard. Also, you can personalise the application via parameters (number of repetitions, snooze, screen shutdown,e tc).

An excellent little program that uses only 41kb and does exactly what it sets out to do.

It doesn't sound an predefined *.wav file. It just "blips" and the led's also don't work. I'm using a iPAQ hx2750

Hmm. I'm also using an iPAQ hx2750 and I like this freeware! I haven't tested all the features because all I cared about was its ability to play a wav file repeatedly, and have snooze. It gives option to automatically turn the volume to maximum too, which is handy. Yes, the default is a beep, but all you have to do is Tap a check box and you can select a WAV instead. I for one say this is a winner! I wake up to it every morning. Really!

Update: I have been using this freeware now for over a year. I wake up to it every morning (well, those that I have to set an alarm for) and it's never let me down. It also uses power off for snooze. I have also used it on an iPAQ 4700, an iPAQ 6500, and on a currently unreleased iPAQ. In order to use it on the 6500, which is a 240x240 screen, I had to resource hack the PE file so I could see the setup screen though.

I like this freeware on the Treo 700w. If I see the entire set-up screen it would superb! I've been able to guess which of the last few selections on the set-up screen set and exit the alarm. I'd really like to know how Mike fixed this.

I use this program on my ppc hp 6314 running 2003 se and it works wonderfully. I have tried paid for softwares but I still preferr this one because it works. Oh and its free.
