pRSSreader is a program that accesses RSS feeds to let you stay informed of the latest news published on the sites and blogs of your choice. Very easy to use and configure, it supplies many handy options such as the choice of the place to save the XML data as well as the ability to empty the cache. It is also possible to personalise the interface by selecting the font size and colours.
A good program that will cause communication trouble if you click unwisely on the links that you sometimes follow to full website pages. Note that I did not test all the possible protocols (the many versions of RSS, ATOM etc)

I loved it but it's crashing my iPAQ hx4700 to the point of hard reset. Maybe because I'm using SE_VGA but I find it obviously unnaceptable. Hope Mr. David can fix this soon.

UPDATE: It was pRSS' Today screen plugin which locked up my PPC. I reinstalled everything but disabled tne plugin and now it's working fine. Fixing it and adding VGA support would be great, though.

Works fine (including synchronization over ActiveSync or GPRS). Performance is a bit dissappointing. But it's the one and only good and free RSS reader for Pocket PC!

pRSS reader has moved to Google Code: http://code.google.com/p/prssr/

This is an extremely useful app. I have loaded it down with lots of feeds from my favorite sites, and find myself using the browser much less frequently.
pRSSreader can even find feeds on web sites that don't display their feed links; just enter the site's regular URL, and you might be pleasantly surprised by discovering that the site actually has a feed available!
Absolutely no glitches or bugs show up on my VGA device.
