This is the best ppc application I have come across. The emulation speed is great!!! The sound is not bad. The controls are configurable plus there's a virtual pad. I love it!!! I've played all the way through Chrono Trigger on this thing and never had the first hint of a problem. It helps that I have a 520mhz processor but I'm sure it's just as good on any of the new 400mhz.

How does it work, exactly? Tried running it on my AT&T 8525 (WM5), and an error pops up saying: "There is no application associated with 'PocketSNES.WM5.7z'. Run the application first, then open this file from within the application.". Anyone know something that could help with this?
OK. So I get a file with a ".7z" extension. What do I do with that file?
@Patlucas
A *.7z file is another type of archive file (similar to *.zip or *.rar). "Un-zip" it to get the files. If your archiver doesn't recognize the *.7z extension, try the portable version of 7zip found here: http://portableapps.com/apps/utilities/7-zip_portable

Ok. So I got a ROM from the net and loaded it. No title bar and no menu so I do I quit PocketSNES? Do the on-screen buttons work? Are there anu instructions anywhere?
Unzip it with the portable app mentioned above, there are files within files so I had to keep unzipping them until it gave me a folder with 4 files. Put the entire folder on your sd card for your ppc and put the ZIPPED rom there also. The program does not come with roms--you have to download them separately as mentioned above. Then run the program from the folder. Nothing actually installs. When the program starts, select "tools/load ROM". Select the rom and away you go. The onscreen buttons DO work! However, only single touches are recognized so running and jumping won't work. I use the onscreen buttons and the ppc's directional pad and it works pretty good. If you tap the screen the toolbar comes up and you can set sound options and reconfigure the buttons. I've only tried two games: Megaman X and MechWarrior....neither had sound. HTH!
