Batti - v2.4 Categorie: System Tools
Screen Shot
Batti permenantly displays the state of your PocketPC's battery.
It doesn't take up much space, taking up only 2 pixels at the top of the screen.

As the screenshot shows, you can set the colours by changing their corresponding values in the Registry (this site explains how).

Update: From version 1.1 a little program called batticfg.exe located at \Program Files\Batti lets you easily set the colours and the refresh frequency.

Nice! But, you don't need to goto the registry to change the colors. Just find the install folder and the configuration utility is in there... You can pick ANY color!! And you can set XX seconds to update the status.

I LIKE MORE! Now you can tap on the line on the screen to get to the config utility. And now it indicates charging, big plus! And you can get detailed Battery information including info on the backup battery... Super Great free program!!!

Great !

I love this app. Just what I was looking for.

The simple things in life are often the best. This app. is great.

I like it, removed Uptime and install this on my Toshiba e800 then i get more for my calendar on today screen, Also install it on Toshiba e350 pocketpc2002 .

Works as stated on my hw6915. Great little app.

Chump (12-29-2006) - v2.1
This program causes the alert-notification LED to flash endlessly on my iPAQ hx4700 (WM2003SE), whether I have any alerts or not, and draining my battery. The irony! I pulled my hair out for days on that one, did a hard-reset and re-installed everything one program at a time, and the problem reappeared right after installing Batti 2.1. Removed the program, and the problem went away.

I wouldn't consider this a fatal flaw, but I note this for posterity so if someone else experiences the same problem many hours of troubleshooting might be avoided.

I've been using this grat software since 1.3 version on Loox 420. I'v bought a looxN560 and I can't suppress the native batteri icon (I've got the line on top, I can play with the batteri symbol in the center with the "show icon" but the native one is on the left were I would like to display date/Time.

Is there any way to suppress the batteri icon of the Loox N560?

Great capabilities but I have the same problem like Chump say before. Green light of my hx2750(WM2003SE) blinks continiusly. Seems HPs are allergic to Batti. Also Batti can't read temperature of this battery. Pitty I remain with much simpler Powerstatus which have an extra remaining RAM indicator.

sbaker25 (02-08-2007) - v2.1
I really liked this application, but I had to remove it because of a serious problem on my Cingular 8125. Any time I charge while it's running, once I reach 100% battery, the device hangs and I have to soft-reset. The problem is 100% reproducible for me. I contacted the developer about the problem, but didn't get a response.

will_nonya (07-28-2007) - v2.1
I love the app but have the lockup issue described by shaker25 on my cingular 8525 using both WM5 & WM6.

Taoist (01-08-2008) - v2.1
Fantastic app, needed because the taskbar power meter I used on WM5 seemed to dissappear when I upgraded to WM6.
After trying a few meters, I found this one to look the best and give all the features I wanted - Small footprint and when charging, to still show battery percentage.

I also noticed the same problem stated above with the locking up when charging complete, real shame - Will investigate further to see if I can find a config that prevents it.
Using TMobile MDA Compact III (HTC P3300) with WM6.0

Coop (02-22-2009) - v2.4
Great little app, like a nicer version of the battery indicator that comes with SPB Pocket+, without the rest of Pocket+ which isn't all that great on a HTC Touch Pro with Touchflo 3D. This is a lot easier in use than the standard battery indicator (or at least the crappy way it was set up as a default) as it indicated battery power in steps of 20%, and the quickest way of getting more detailed info was tapping the icon, wait for the phone status screen to open, tap the battery icon there and see the standard winmo battery indicator (which isn't all that great anyway).

So far I haven't experienced any problems with status leds or crashing at 100%. (Using HTC Touch Pro rebranded as T-Mobile MDA Vario IV, running WM6.1 pro)
