PocketPCFreeware : psShutXP 0.29

psShutXP is a full featured program that manages shut downs and soft resets. Included features:
- Soft reset
- shut down
- turning the screen on and off.
Password protection is included as is the ability to program the functions. You can also run the program from a mapped hardware button or by placing an icon in the SysTray on the Today page.
Finally, it supports skins and VGA display. A particularly well made program, right down the the smallest detail.

After copying these files to my pocket pc, there is no way of installing them? It says there is no application associated with the files? Am I missing something?

I use it only for soft reset, some times is difficult to find this little hole to reset your PocketPC or you hav'nt the proper stylus. When you do a lot of soft resets then this is it. Graphics are perfect (looks like XP). A very small bug is that sometimes gray of shuting down (like XP) remain on some areas of screen. I have hx2750 WM2003SE.

Is their an easy way to get the skins? And just how do you install tem and where on the PDA? Pogram works well.

...shut down actually is sleep mode. it does not turn off my phone. Graphics are great.

@kbywg : AFAIK, phone are NEVER shutdown, but in sleep mode... So this tool do just its work !

Actually the PPC is never switched-off either. Scheduled tasks, alarms and such like are still active when the device appears to be off.
