MortSaver is a utility program that lets you choose between shutting down the Pocket PC or just the screen. As for the backlight, the program displays a countdown before turning it off: so it is simulaneously a screen saver to save the batteries as well as a program that stops involuntary lighting up for the screen by blocking all buttons except for a single one. Note that there's a special Phone Edition which does not shut down the device at inopportune moments and keeps SMS management and failed calls.
