BerBible is simplified freeware that includes the complete ESV Bible at no cost (English Standard Version ©2001 by Good News & Crossway Publishers). The learning curve is all but trivial because only the essentials are implemented:* go directly to a specific verse * find verses with one or more words Word/phrase searching is extremely fast, intuitive, and very flexible to find what you are looking for. Even on older PPC-2002's, it is running quickly after you launch it, and incremental searching is as fast as you can tap the stylus. BerBible derives its name from Berean Bible, which reflects that the focus is on sola scriptura with no provision for commentaries. ...
