SuperDoku is a complete Sudoku game : it offers a nice interface but can also generate grids with 8 levels from beginner to hardest. You can only access a new level after you complete the previous one. The gameplay is very good nd the program is easy to use. With an Undo/Redo option it would be perfect. For those who like to add small marks, the option is available. Once a number is selected, it appears in bold in the whole grid : a great help to visualize better.
There are several skins included in the installation package which allow you to personalize it. Note that numbers are graphics and you are not obliged to play with numbers.
SuperDoku is a program to try and if you are not a hardcore sudoku player my opinion is that it is one of the best in our database. The author is working on a 2.0 version which is more VGA compatible and supports sqared screen, besides other improvements.

This game is really cool. I has never been able to/ interested in solving sodukos. But now i am totally hooked.

Any sign of Mike V2.0 yet??? 1.1 is excellent by the way..highly recommended..

V 1.0 does not support square screen. V 2.0 is promised to do so but it sounds like this may be a ways off as the author is attending school and limited on time.

Anyone have further word on Version 2.0? It looks like the author's website hasn't been updated in nearly a year.

Have just downloaded and installed it. I cannot figure out what I am supposed to do with it. It doesn't appear to generate its own games. So, does thsi mean that I have to create them myself? If so, then the program isn't much good for me as I am learning Soduku. I wouldn't know where to start with this one.

@mjt57 : Hit 'File' then 'Create' : If you start with this soft, you'll have to complete without machine's help some Beginner's level to step up the level ! :)
