A much better remote control program, even besting Microsoft's Remote Control. It has a much faster screen refresh, supports full screen, and also allows copying/pasting from the PC to the ppc. I love the drag/ drop file transfer. Unfortunately, an Activesync connection is required. I would have preferred it to be IP based, but for now, it does it's job quite well.

Would be even better if it could work with or without ActiveSync. That way I could use it on both my home and work PC.

This is an astonishing little program -- try it and see! My gear: Axim X30, W2003SE, Dell laptop, Win XP.
A couple of points:
1) Installation was just a little fraught ... had to reboot PC and then the Axim froze up. However, rebooting everything again got it working;
2) In a sense, it's **too useful**. Needing the ActiveSync connection means carrying around a cable when I'm on the move with my Axim and PC. It's crying out for Bluetooth connection -- or would that make it too slow?
Nevertheless, a remarkable piece of work.

UPDATE:
This program allows the use of the number keypad! I almost didn't notice this improvement over Microsoft's Remote Control, which did not allow this. Also, copying from the PPC to the PC is accomplished via the MyMoblie's menu.

This is a great program even if it does not seem to support native VGA (640x480)
I am VERY impressed! When it supports 640x480 I will be even more impressed!!

Oops, spoke too soon. When connected to my dual monitor laptop, running this software sometimes prevents the mouse from going to monitor #2. Closing the program and re-opening it restored the mouse ability but made the screen on the PDA distorted. Running a program on the PDA which repaints the entire screen removed the distortion.
Even with this buggy behavior, I give this program a 9. At least I would if I knew where to click to rate the software.

The new version (Build 70821.010) allows IP connections. There's nothing I don't like about this software!

I like the software, but when it comes time to uninstall, it's worse than a virus! Everytime I connect my PDA to my PC, it re-installs itself. I can't uninstall it!

@Timn, try uninstalling it from the PDA while it is disconnected from the PC. Then uninstall the PC version by dragging the My mobiler folder to the recycler bin. That should keep it from reinstalling itself

a very good software for those who are very busy with their pc and mobile phone... i rate this 9/10
just got a hard time uninstalling it... this should help you guys:
1. Uncheck "Auto Connect" (Tray Menu - Auto Connect)
2. Uninstall ( Tray Menu - Configure Mobile - Uninstall)
- This may take a couple of seconds.
- If error occurs, 'Quit Remote' and try again.
- Or you can delete below files manually.
1. \Windows\Remote.exe
2. \Windows\Start Menu\Programs\My Mobiler.lnk
3. Delete "My Mobile" folder On your desktop.
im using an XDAII and it work perfectly on this unit!!!

I thought "No way", but I was wrong. You have to get this, it even works with advanced skins, o can also screen capture in pics or video.

Didn't Work on my System.
It didn't allow my mouse to enter into my second PC-monitor.

How can I get this to work with my IPAQ h4350 (WM2003)? Do I need to have anything running on the PPC? Any help is much appreciated.

Run the exe installer file on the windows box. I prefer to install to desktop.
Activesync mobile device
Run the my mobiler.exe file within the created folder
My mobiler will automatically install to mobile device

Remote connection response time seems to be slowing down. I like the extra features that are being added, just not the slower response remotely.
10/10 down to 9/10.

Finnaly got this to work. Impressive!!! Now, that's what I call true integration! I especially like the copy/paste between PC and PPC. Diserves 9/10

Why on earth make the My Mobiler window resizeable since the PPC screen is fixed-size???

You are clearely using an old CRT screen on your PC :?
On modern LCD screens (1280*1024+) a QVGA PPC screen is a bit small to work on, so going for double size makes it a lot more viewer friendly, on old LCD screens (1024*768 or less) a VGA PPC screen takes up most of the screen estate, making it not user friendly, so going to 50% is a nice option.
If you are using a projector to show things from your PPC, the zoom funktion is very nice, making the PPC screen fill out the entire canvas.

I understand the Zoom feature and I appreciate it very much. I was talking about what happens if you drag the edges of the window. Like me, you will get your PPC screen in the top-left corner and all the rest will be black! Doesn't make sense really!

I disagree. There are a lot of windows in Microsoft Windows that are not resizable (mostly dialogue boxes). Wouldn't take much to remove this attribute from the My Mobiler window.

Works in Ubuntu 8.04 (with Wine 1.05). File transfers and everything works wonderful. Had to use the IP connection to connect.

A suprisingly helpful tool!
By controlling your PDA from the desktop PC with mouse and keyboard (instead of stylus) all procedures are fast and easy: check mail, add apponitments, send SMS. The overall engineering of the software is excellent: no cabs, no install, no register... just run the exe and... Bang! there you go.

Brilliant software and its developer. Nothing I will ask for more. The simpliest and useful program for easiest accesst to my XDA. I'll give a generous 9.9/10 :-)

has anybody been able to view and control sprint tv through their pc using mobiler, I have been having a little difficulty but great software very useful for sms,contacts,calender and just about any maintence on my PPC-6900 sprint touch

Doesn't work on my Vista PC / Diamond2 getting message "can't connect" don't know if it's due to 480x800 screen res... anyone else got it working with a high-res ppc? Used this with my old blueangel and it was very good.

I've never been able to get the remote file explorer to work, and I've fiddled with it for hours. But the remote control, screen capture, and movie recording works great.

Oh my goodness!!! This is amazing!!! 10/10, just installed it! Too easy to install!!! Works straight away, no config required. Too easy to use!!! Almost unbelievable!!! I was missing my SE p910i handwriting recognition while using the 'transcriber' on my Omnia, but his just makes it bearable!

oh!! oh! Even works with the accellorometer, so it just re-sizes/re-orientates on the desktop when you change the orientation of my Omnia!!! Too kewl! Way kewl! Definitely a must-have.!!!

Very useful app! You can easily increase the size of the WM mobile device screen (on your PC) by decreasing the resolution of your PC monitor. Even at 800/600, there is plenty of screen space for Windows Explorer (for dragging and dropping or whatever). Good Going Developers! ATT Tilt (HTC 8925), QVGA, WM6.1

I had this on my machine and was very impressed, then I tried to do a Sprite Backup to the PC. This program got in the way. I temporarily uninstalled it. Has anyone else had the same issue? Prior to the backup, I killed the program on my device but it still seemed to interfere on the PC end. Any advice would be appreciated.
