Previously named JabberCE, this is an instant Internet communication software still in the development stage. If you have an AIM, ICQ, Yahoo Messenger or MSN Messenger account, you can use JabberCE to communicate with friends who have any of these as well. Since I do not have an AIM account I did not try it, however it did only work with MSN and Yahoo. It did not work at all with ICQ. Communicating with the jabber.org server is not always simple. In short, I had a lot of problems.
Also, with the successful results (MSN and Yahoo), the products do work under WindowsCE. Therefore, I recommend this software only to those who do not communicate very often, and who only want the same product as that of their contacts. To make it work.....

If I was wireless then I would make a LOT of use of this application. However, being restricted to connection to the net via a cable to my PC I'm less inclinced to use this.
It's still good :)

I found that the navigation through this software was very poor, no cancel or back buttons. The overall design is very basic and lacks any additional features. While I was able to get messages through ICQ I was not able to get Jabber to configure or send AIM messages but that may be a problem with the servers I was choosing. One feature that I could have used is a server activity icon or something that showed me I was live to the server, I shut down my wireless interface but on my screen it appeared I was still connected. This application is OK but has a way to go yet.
