With this program which becomes more and more complete with every version, you can perfectly control the Registry on your machine. It is not a tool that can be used by any newbie when you know the importance of this information for a good operation of WindowsCE. After this warning, you will be granted with the power to configure usually nonaccessible elements. Besides the possibility to Cut & Paste values, you can export keys, import being a current project of the authors (but how many of our can create a .REG file that can be imported?).
The search function works perfectly with case: upper and lower no more filtering the results of whole strings.
Searching operates in the native order of the Registry, and not alphabetically, which can sometimes give the impression that it finds an occurence "higher" in the tree than the occurence that preceeded it. This doesn't stop the program finding all the available occurences if you do a search from "My Device", but can be disconcerting at first sight.
This program is not far off perfection, and future versions should hopefully close the gap.
Update : version 0.70 includes
- a Backup/Restore of the Registry
- improvements to the code and user interface

Another great application. I've been playing around with all kinds of settings, fiddling with fonts and scrollbars.
Ideal for developers and anyone that just wants to make some tweaking :)

I am unable to install this program on my DELL X30?

Regarding my previous post, I finally worked out that I needed to download the ARM cab file, copy it to my PPC and run it on the PPC to ge it installed.
What threw me was that the "Desktop Installer" option did not seem to work.

Thank you to geoff.sim!! I have been trying to install this program off and on for almost 6 months. Works wonderfuly. I coppied the entire extract folder to my rx3715, clicked on rededit.Jup_ARM.CAB, then I deleated the un needed folder. Like I said works wonderfuly.

Where did you find the ARM cab file? I've only been able to find the .msi file so far. Thanks

@tcroy: have a look at http://www.freewareppc.com/utilities/phmregistryeditor.shtml
I'm just wondering why the cab is 94k and the msi is over 400k *confused*

I installed this and after I have edited the registry it replaces the entry back to the original even after I have saved it? Any idea why the entry isn't taking? HELP!
