PocketPCFreeware : PocketTV Classic 1.4.7

PocketTV will allow you to play full screen videos on your PPC. You can store them either in RAM, on a Storage Card, or on a Microdrive (for the lucky ones). It is, in my humble opinion, the best MPG1 player.

Since version 0.4.14, this software uses the tGetFile system, which lets you store movies in a location other than \My Documents.

In short, an indispensable program and fully compatible with PPC 2002!

Support of VGA sleeves allows you to see the Pocket PC screen on an external display (version 0.6.9 on).

Version 0.6.15 adds support for foreign languages.

Update : The Enterprise Edition Version is optimized for XScale processors, but it is not "free for personal use". It is a pity if you are planning to buy a Pocket PC with this new processor. The Classic Version remains available.

I love this program. This is sweet! It enables you to watch movies on your pocket pc! And If you think that it will be slow... you're wrong... I was running the same movie non-stop for 40 minutes and it NEVER got slow! I think this was a great idea. WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY recommended.

The latest version of PocketTV has support for the Intel 2700G video accelerator chip which is used by the Dell Axim x50v VGA Pocket PC. This means that it can play VGA-resolution MPEG at full framerate with perfect quality on the x50v. This optimization is included in the freeware version of PocketTV.

Absolut peace of crap! Nothing except jerky "video", Beta player is a lot better, though also does not work (jerky as well, though a lot better). And please, stop putting only enchanting comments on this site! The majority of this amateur soft is far from good, strange to see 8th and 9th here...
