Attention please, Ladies and Gentlemen! The masterpiece that many users of ICQ have been waiting for did finally arrive. I'm talking about the first software for this instant messaging network with its millions of users. Those who already know ICQ from the PC won't be surprised, the interface is as usual, plain and easy and the smilies found their place just like in the competitors. Of course you can have multiple chats at once, a small drop down list will allow you to change between the sessions. A small icon at the bottom of the screen shows you when one of your chat friends came in, just like with the desktop version. even though it is a beta version we had no problems with stability, not even after testing very thoroughly. In order to have your buddy list from the PC version also on the Pocket PC, you have to install at least version 2001b there: this will transfer the list to the central ICQ server, and then the Pocket PC version will download it.
If you don't want to change to PocketPC2002 and its integrated MSN Messenger, you will have the possibility to stay in contact with your friend using this great freeware. JabberCE doesn't work with ICQ, and I always had troubles with Yahoo.
Now the version passed from Alpha to Beta, but nothing new, still as solid as before, but no new functions.

The connection gets often interrupted, I use AgileMessenger instead of this Program (AgileMessenger Also interrupts the connection, but seldom)
