POIEdit is a (desktop) POI management software which was previously only to be used by owners of the Tomtom Navigator. In the 2.6 version, it grants a little more access to GPS owners by allowing the GPX and XML to be used. This software allows you to manage your personal lists, to synchronize these lists with your handheld and also to synchronize your GPS points with certain Internet sites. This version also allows simple mapping management giving faster ability to locate a point on the map. After installing, only the BeNeLux map is available but a calibration option will allow additional maps.
A great supplement found at CheckPOInt.

Fine utility if using TTN... The integrated map feature at the left side is not very useful (need to add bmp maps + manual adjustments). Using v3.7.2 which works. The plug-ins (MapPoint and MapQuest (small map but a lot of advertisement)) are ok.
