LogoLogin is a password protection for the Pocket PC, and it is a simplified freeware version of a more complete program by the same author. In spite of this, it provides all the options required for easy use.
The installation is transparent and you will find in the Control Panel (under Personal) a new icon in place of Password. You can then define a more secure password than is possible with the standard app and the program requires that you use a mix of capitals, small letters and numbers. This code wil be necessary to open ActiveSync on the PC, so the great advantage of this program is to allow a click in a region of an image on the Pocket PC. You are allowed only one mistake, so be careful.
I have checked, as always with programs that shortcut the password, that they can't compromise the functions of the alarms.
The commercial program adds some functions that will interested some people: image choice (using a corporate logo, for example), a code consituting a sequence of buttons, etc.
Certainly not necessary, this freeware remains very interesting because it allows you to release you Pocket PC will a single click on an image: it is immediate and less unweildy that entering a code.
