We have had HP emulators for a long time, but have been waiting for the equivalent for TI.
Ah well, this is nothing to get too excited about. For sure, the program runs and in theory you have a graphical calculator in your hands. But the slow execution, the very average 240x320 interface, the fact that the screen is difficult to read without a magnifying glass makes this emulator a simple programming exercise for the momment.
No ROM is supplied (TI doesn't supply it free of charge, unlike HP) and you have to recover that of your machine: TI-82, TI-83, TI-83 Plus, TI-85, TI-86 and TI-89 run under this emulator.
Let's wait to see how this program evolves, but for the moment, it is really only useable as a demonstration piece.

Just installed this program on my PDA and downloaded the ROM of the TI-89 (for free) from the official site and it runs very very nice! (you need a good processor to run it, in 200Mhz might be slow... i've got a 400Mhz and it's not as fluid as the machine, but it's very good). For me it's a very usefull program because i'm in an engeneering course and this machine is the "must have" for any of us. I must really thanks Daniel Galano & Rusty Wagner for it. I rate this program 10/10!
