MobSync is a software allowing any file folder synchronization from the Pocket PC onto the desktop--synchronization which cannot be done with ActiveSync.
So, with this software you can synchronize any file folder on your Pocket PC (not necessarily \My Documents) with any file folder on your desktop (not necessarily \Pocket_PC My Documents either). It works well and now that it is translated in english it is a must have. Pay attention to very big files, it may stop in the middle of the process and fail to copy (just like ActiveSync).

I tried to download v0.9.0, but I get a message "You are not authorized to view this page." I had previously succeeded in downloading v0.8.9.

I changed my internet service provider over night and tried again to download v0.9.0. This time I was successful.

Excellent. This is the first sync app I've found which works reliably, handles SD & CF cards, AND has the option of putting deleted files in Recycle Bin (PC) or a nominated folder on PPC.

I've had terrible luck with this application. I setup a sync for critical sales files on the office network, and although it worked some of the time, I found that it was unreliable. I ended up having out-of-date files on three separate occasions in front of customers and ended up misquoting prices (which turned into a VERY big deal).
I'm now using "Acid Sync" (www.Razer7.com) and have never looked back. It supports presync and post-sync plugins and I wrote a quick-and-dirty one-line batch file to gnab the latest pricelists every time it syncs! Not only that, I also wrote a small VB Script that would cut only the prices for my department straight out of the Excel spreadsheet and only sync those (!!!). Very, very cool. I registered the app today and HIGHLY recommend it to professionals everywhere (especially salespeople)!
